Stephen DeVoy
About this Instructor
Stephen DeVoy is a CELTA certified English instructor and one of the founders of Meet, Speak & Learn. Stephen is a native-tongue English speaker, inventor, and polymath with an education and work history spanning computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence, philosophy, English language instruction, college level Philosophy of Ethics instruction, and linguistics. He holds two U.S. patents. Stephen has circled the Earth twice, visited every inhabited continent, and lived for more than 5 years as a digital nomad. He has studied Spanish, German, Russian, Icelandic, and Italian. Stephen speaks Spanish well. He currently lives in the Republic of Georgia, Sardinia, and the United States.
Stephen also teaches English in Italy, in conjunction with Potenza, an English language school based in Sardinia.
Stephen teaches all levels of English. For solo tutoring, he tutors levels B1 through C2, unless the student speaks Spanish, in which case he tutors levels A1 through C2.
